History of the company
The company started as International Marine Consultancy Co., Ltd., which was established in July 1974, as its predecessor, and has grown mainly from ship management and new shipbuilding supervision for foreign ship owners. In November 1985, the company changed its name to MMS Co., Ltd. and at the same time strengthened its organization, it established a system to meet a wide range of needs by opening its Singapore branch in 2009 and new Delhi in 2016. We have established three companies in the Philippines that provide manning operations such as hiring, training, and distribution of sailors, and one company in India, employing and training high-quality sailors, ensuring safe operation, and providing ship management services that satisfy customers. Since 2018, the training center has been operational to further improve the quality of the crew.
MMS Bulkship Management (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (former name: Neom Maritime (Singapore) Pte Ltd) in Singapore (1997), MMS Bulkship Management (Philippines), Inc. (former name: Phil-Bright Ocean Ship Management, Inc.) in Manila (2012) and MMS Ship Management (India) Pvt. Ltd. in New Delhi (2019) have been established as a ship management company of Meiji Shipping Co., Ltd. to strengthen the foundation of overseas business.
